Tellagami
Tellagami is a free app that allows the user to create a short video using an avatar. With this app, the user is able to choose whether they would like to record their own voice or type in the text of what they would like their 'Gami' to say. The main idea is that it allows people to display their information in a simple way, and is particularly useful for those who are camera shy.
Tellagami allows you to:
* Edit your avatar
* Change the background from the library or from your own camera roll
* Record your voice or type in text for what you would like your avatar to say
* Edit the emotions of your avatar
* Upload your video onto your device or social media

Implications in the Classroom
This app has many implications for its users in the classroom. First of all it is a free app meaning that it can easily be downloaded and accessed from any device. This app also works in sync with iMovie, therefore can easily be inserted into the program to be edited.
Tellagmi is good for students with low confidence as it does not require any videoing. It is also up to the student to decide whether they would like to record their voice or insert the text, which again depends on the confidence of the student.
For teachers this app is a great assessing tool. Since each video can only be a maximum of thirty seconds long, this allows teachers to assess how well students can condense their information and choose the key points to communicate. It also indicates to the teacher students' abilities, whether they are confident enough to speak and how effectively they use backgrounds and avatars in correlation with the topic.
